Have in mind that the Apple Airport Extreme is not a mesh router, an indication that it does a great job operating as a single unit. Even though it covers a range of 3,000 square feet, this router is able to achieve speeds that reach an impressive 1,750Mbps. On the other hand, the Apple Airport Extreme performs better by a large margin. However, its speeds are a bit on the lower side, delivering a cumulative 1Gbps theoretical throughput. With these beacons, the main router is able to comprehensively cover a range of 5,500 square feet which is really impressive. When purchased, it usually comes with two beacons which act as satellite devices to boost the speed and range of internet transmission. The fact that the Amazon Eero Pro is a mesh device makes it an easy favorite, especially where range is concerned. Being that it is a compact device, it is quite easy to set up, and the fact that it has a flat base allows it to sit on any flat surface of your preference.
